Troy Deeney’s team of the week: Vicario, Gabriel, Caicedo, Rice, Haaland, Gravenberch

Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City): This kid is very scary. He plays for Manchester City, naturally he is a midfielder and everyone forgets that. His style of play at left-back is very clever. This kid impressed in the win against Bournemouth and I think he’s a star of the future, I really like him.

Gabriel (Arsenal): Again, just a threat and that’s nice to see. Arsenal have not conceded a goal this season. They are on a constant rollercoaster. He’s so far removed from the set pieces that he’s a pain in the ass. He doesn’t know much about the assist in the win over Burnley but just being there made the difference. You can feel the fear in other teams too.

Jean-Clair Todibo (West Ham): It’s here for two reasons. West Ham won a game first, but I also thought he was measured and confident. Newcastle weren’t at their best but you can only beat what’s in front of you. I thought he was really good with the ball and calmed him down. He’s looked flexible and a little scared over the last few weeks, but he looks like he’s grown a bit under Nuno Espirito Santo’s guidance.

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham): He got the team started to a win against Wolves. We have made excellent progress and have been pretty good all season. I would argue that he has been their most consistent player all season. He has added goals to his game and it is great to see him playing fit and healthy.
