Revanth, Ministers To Attend ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod’ Maha Rally in Delhi

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with several ministers, will attend the Congress’ ‘Oy Chor, Gaddi Chhod’ maha rally to be held at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on December 14. The protest aims to highlight what the party describes as large-scale “vote theft” and manipulation of election processes by the BJP and the Election Commission.

The rally, led by senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and attended by AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, is positioned as a call to “take back India’s democracy”. Congress leaders said the event was aimed at drawing national attention to alleged irregularities in recent elections, including in Maharashtra, Haryana and Bihar.

As part of the restructuring, Congress conducted a nationwide signature campaign against allegations of election fraud. The party’s youth and women’s wings are actively mobilizing their supporters online, projecting the rally as a decisive moment in the struggle to preserve democratic values.

In Telangana, the party high command has instructed the TPCC to collect 25,000 signatures from each district by December 8. The newly appointed DCC chairmen were instructed to complete the task within the given time. TPCC is scheduled to submit its report on the petition to Rahul Gandhi on the day of the rally.

The Congress has intensified its criticism against the Election Commission, accusing it of operating as an “openly partisan player” and undermining the level playing field guaranteed to all parties. The party states that “voting for the coalitions” poses a serious threat to the democratic framework of the country.
