Body of missing boy, 15, found in reservoir in Stalybridge

The body of a 15-year-old boy was pulled from the pond.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said it called the teenager after receiving reports he was in distress at Cowbury Reservoir in Tameside, Stalybridge, at 18:30 on Saturday.
A force spokesman said the body was found in the water later that evening, formally identified and the family notified.
The search continues for another child elsewhere in Greater Manchester. Police say he got into difficulty on the River Irwell at Clifton Country Park in Salford on Saturday afternoon.
GMP said the boy missing from Salford was last seen shortly before 5pm.
A force spokesman said officers were called to reports of a child “in distress”.
