Samantha Set To Add Her Hubby’s Surname?

Actress Samantha immediately updated her name to “Samantha Akkineni” on her social media platforms after marrying her long-time boyfriend Naga Chaitanya. However, when problems arose in their marriage, she first shortened her name to “S” on Instagram and later reverted to her original name “Samantha Ruth Prabhu”.

Despite marrying director Raj Nidimoru, Samantha has not made any changes to her name on her social media profiles so far. This led to speculation among fans and followers; many wondered whether the actor consciously avoided repeating his past experiences.

Rumors in the industry are that Samantha is now set to take her husband’s surname in a different way, through a movie. It is said that the actress will be referred to as “Samantha Nidimoru” in the title cards of the film for the Maa Inti Bangaram project, which she is also producing.

Considering the increased attention Samantha received when she made the name change, it appears she’s not planning any immediate updates on her Instagram or other social media pages.
