The 34-year-old actress, known for her role as Katy Armstrong in Coronation Street, was reported to have split from her husband last July.
It was previously reported that Kris had left the marital home, while Georgia had removed her wedding ring and deleted all traces of the musician from social media.
She wrote to her followers: ‘No. The worst year of my life. Thank goodness for my friends and family, I couldn’t take a break.
‘This was one of the worst years I’ve ever had. I know this because I literally couldn’t find a single happy time to post about. Here are some little things that make me happy in the midst of it all. (Not fire watch).
He continued: ‘I don’t even want to get into why it’s so awful. But when the fire happened, I didn’t really think that the situation could get worse. Then the stress of this year sent my vitiligo crazy. I really lost all my confidence.
‘But if I’ve learned anything from all this. I am a warrior. I am very strong. Very durable. I give 12059% to everything I do. The fact that I’m still standing here right now, smiling and getting through each day says a lot to myself about who I am. No matter what people try to make you think.
‘It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to be disappointed. It’s okay to feel hurt. But sometimes you have to tell yourself: One day I will have the life I deserve because I am a kind person. This will be enough.
‘Please be kind to others. If you are struggling, please stay strong. Life is hard. But we only get one. So love deeply. Beloved. And try to find some happiness every day. Whatever that is for you.”
Georgia was greeted with support from fans, with one writing: ‘Lots of love to you G. Keep smiling and being yourself. ‘New Year New Episode’;

‘I am so grateful to you for your openness and honesty, you are not alone, difficult times do not last long for difficult people’;
‘I’m so proud of you, thank you for this little reminder that everything will be okay in the end! You will always have me in your corner. I hope 2026 will be much better for both of us’;
‘2025 may be a bad time, but I know 2026 will be your year and the start of an incredibly wild journey.’
In August, musician Kris fled England for a songwriting holiday home in Spain, leaving his estranged wife at their marital home in Manchester.
She took to social media at the time to write a heartbreaking note: ‘Write something in a time of devastation.’
Georgia and Kris had kept the details of their romance private since meeting in 2018, but the pair got engaged three years later and married in July 2023.
Georgia, who starred in Corrie for five years from 2010, has previously admitted her acting work has dried up in the past few years.
After her character was brutally killed in a car crash, the model began appearing in reality TV shows such as Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Juice, and in the early 2020s, she had a regular role in American fantasy series The Outpost.
But speaking to the Sausage On A Fork podcast, he admitted he had a ‘nightmare’ trying to find work and said the last few years had been the ‘quietest time’ of his life.
Georgia said: ‘I came back in December 2020 and realized, ‘Oh my God, there’s no work.’
‘Anything that was stopped shooting in the UK then got put on the back burner and then there was a backlog of things that were going to start shooting. Then it took four years for everything behind that to come out, then there was the writers’ strike.’
Georgia continued: ‘This was just a nightmare. That’s why this was the quietest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. I think most actors around the world will tell you the exact time.’
