Vice President JD Vance said that he had no plan to recognize the Palestinian state at a meeting with US Secretary of State David Lammy.

Britain said that if Israel does not meet certain conditions, it will take action in September.

However, US President Donald Trump did not follow the case and believes that recognizing the Palestinian state will reward Hamas.

The difference in the approach to the war in Gaza is among the issues discussed by Vance and Lammy in the city of Foreign Minister Chevening House on Friday.

Speaking with Lammy, Vance said, “The United Kingdom will decide.

“We have no plan to get to know a Palestinian state.

“Considering the lack of a functional government there, I don’t know what it would mean to really get to know a Palestinian state.”

The Vice President said that the US administration wanted to see that Hamas was eliminated, so that Israeli was attacked again, at the same time to solve the “humanitarian crisis” in Gaza.

Vance, England and the United States sharing the foci and goals of Chevening’de “disputes to be discussed, he said.

Lammy said Israel was concerned about the intention of taking Gaza more.

Foreign Minister said: “What we all want to see is a cease -fire – the hostages we all want to see.

He continued: “We are very worried about the human pain we see especially in Gaza.”

The two men went to fish in a pond near the 17th century house on Friday morning. Vance said that he and his children caught fish, but Lammy was not.

The Vance family is expected to spend most of their breaks in Cotswolds and is also reported to have visited Hampton Court Palace.

The UK external secretaries have traditionally used Chevening, a mansion listed in 1 class with lakes and maze -containing gardens.

Lammy and Vance have been gathering regularly on official trips since the role of Foreign Minister last year, and they are reported to be bound by their common Christian beliefs.

Another important area for discussion this weekend is the possibility of a meeting between Ukraine and US President Donald Trump and Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to discuss the conflict.

Lammy insisted that Russia could not have negotiations unless there was a ceasefire to end the war against Ukraine.

The fear of Lammy and other European countries is that Putin will try to use Europe’s security in a way that weakens the security of Europe to force the terms in Ukraine without its presence on the table.

The Vice President’s visit to England comes a few weeks after Trump went to Scotland during a special visit to golf fields.

Trump met with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and EU chief Ursula von Der Luyen and accepted a trade agreement with the block and will return to a full state visit in September.
