Kerala Higher Education and Law Ministers hold talks with Governor on higher education crisis

Minister of Higher Education R. Bindu and Law Minister P. Rajeve called Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar in Raj Bhavan on August 3, 2025.

The debate, which lasted more than an hour, tried to get a consensus on the appointment of vice president at universities operated by the state. The government’s proposal of reconciliation is reported to follow a directive by Prime Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
