US judge reject unsealing Florida Epstein transcripts

A federal judge in Southern Florida rejected the request of the US Department of Justice to realize the great jury transcripts of the late financier and sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, the first decision of the attempt to publish more information about the administration of President Donald Trump.

According to the court documents, the request was due to federal investigations about Epstein in 2005 and 2007.

The Ministry of Justice has the request to reveal transcripts in the Federal Court of Justice about the indictments against Epstein and former partner Ghislaine Maxwell.

US regional judge Robin Rosenberg found that the Ministry of Justice’s demand in Florida did not fall into exceptions of rules that require the hidden jury material to be kept confidential.

@Dagtoddblanche: This Ministry of Justice does not avoid disturbing facts or the responsibility to follow justice wherever the facts can go. Doj and FBI’s common statement of July 6 continue to be right as it is today…

The Ministry of Justice concluded in early July to continue the Epstein investigation and triggered a reaction between most of Trump’s supporters.

The major jury transcripts in Florida are about Epstein’s first federal sex smuggling investigation, led by the US Law Office in Miami.

Prosecutors agreed not to impose federal accusations in 2007 in exchange for accepting the accusations of prostitution against Epstein.

He was sentenced to 13 months in prison.
