When does the ABC Classic 100: Greatest of All Time countdown begin?
Every year on the first weekend of June, ABC Classic celebrates the top 100 musical hits chosen by viewers based on a specific theme.
This year’s theme is The Best of All Time.
in 2026 It falls on Saturday, June 6th and Sunday, June 7th.
The countdown begins at 10am (AEST) each day and broadcasts are live across the country.

There’s a lot of classical music, so if your selections didn’t make the top 100, there’s a good chance they missed it.
From Monday, June 8 with Friday, June 12We’ll be playing music that made it onto the ABC Classic 100: Greatest of All Time list.
Every day at 10am and 3pm (AEST) Russell Torrance and Vanessa Hughes will count down from 200 to 101.
And at ABC Classic, we play the best classical music of all time every day, so tune in whenever you want to hear your favorite songs.
Will there be a concert based on music from the ABC Classic 100: Greatest of All Time list?
ABC Classic 100 Concert, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra It will take place at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on Friday, June 19 at 19.30 and on Saturday, June 20 at 14.00.
You can watch the concert on ABC TV. ABC view and listen on Saturday, June 27 at 7:30pm on ABC Classic.
