Trump makes major MRI results update amid health fears | US | News

US President Donald Trump announced that he will publish the findings of the MRI scan he performed in October.
His health announcement comes in the wake of earlier attacks on his predecessor, Joe Biden, and medical concerns that plagued his administration and ultimately led to his departure from previous US elections.
The White House has not yet explained why the US President needed an MRI during his medical examination last month.
But Trump told reporters on Sunday that he would happily make the MRI findings public.
“If you want it to be published, I will publish it,” the president said during a discussion with reporters as he returned to Washington from Florida.
He claimed the MRI results were “excellent.”
The US President also told the press on Sunday that he had “no idea” which part of his body he had an MRI on, while boasting that he had “passed” other exams in October.
“It was just an MRI,” he said.
“What part of the body? It wasn’t the brain, because I took a cognitive test and passed.”
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt previously stated that the President underwent “advanced imaging” at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center “as part of his routine physical examination.”
He said the findings showed Trump remains in “remarkable physical health.”
The irony of the supposedly perfect test results was that less than a year ago, they cast doubt on the age and health of former US president Joe Biden, who eventually dropped out of the presidential race as he did ahead of the 2024 election.
Even recently, Trump harshly criticized Biden about his health. The jibe comes just days after the 47th US president was seen napping in the middle of a press briefing on weight-loss drugs during an event in the Oval Office.
Trump commented about Biden: “He sleeps all the time, day, night, on the beach.” He said of Biden: “I’m not a sleeper.”
