Denim, not discounts: Why Ace Turtle is moving up the value chain

“Ace Turtle started with a different model and a lot of promise, but over time it evolved into more of a traditional retail operator. They’ve done pretty well, but they don’t stand out very much at the moment. Scale and portfolio depth are critical in this business. As they largely manage a few brands, it’s difficult to build a real advantage with landlords, partners and even consumers,” said Harminder Sahni, founder and managing director of business management consultancy Wazir Advisors.
