Family’s emotional plea after horror fatal crash in Wantirna South, Melbourne

The parents of a two -year -old child, who was injured in a fear of fear that killed his grandmother and grandfather, shared his heart wound and issued an emotional objection to change.

Carl’s parents are now inviting the state government to change laws on older drivers.


Vicky’s partner Ethan said, “Victoria legislation is far behind.” He said.
“You can’t guarantee that everyone can still drive at the age of 70, 80, 90.”
A Victoria police spokesman confirmed that he had interviewed 91 -year -old Newswire with the Major Collision Investigation Detectives on Friday.

Victoria does not have old age tests for driving.

In NSW, drivers over 85 years of age require annual medical test and should perform a driving test every two years.
In Queensland, drivers older than 75 years of age need to carry an existing medical certificate while behind the steering wheel.
WA must make a medical assessment every year before renewing its licenses.
Following the deadly accident, Prime Minister I Carroll said that the incident returned to the agenda that re -testing elderly drivers.

“We need to look at this,” he said at the beginning of this month.
“About old and driving people, I think this is a valid question… The test is around.
