US President Donald Trump threatens 200 per cent tariff on Australian pharmaceuticals, 50 per cent on copper

US President Donald Trump, Australia’s largest export to the United States for drugs for drugs, 200 percent is a tariff of 200 percent, he said.
However, he said that the manufacturers would give time to move production to America to avoid tariffs.
The US President also said that Bakır could face a 50 percent tariff.
So far, both the Pharmaceutical and Copper has been exempted from the changing tariff policies of the US, which has been waiting for two separate investigations by the Ministry of Commerce.
Trump frequently criticized America’s confidence in foreign manufacturers for these products, emphasizing the critical role of imported drugs for copper for health and industry and technological progress.
Speaking to journalists before a cabinet meeting, Trump said he would take a period of grace to carry the operations of drug producers to the United States.
“(Drug producers) We will come and come to come and give it for about a year, one and a half, and they will be a tariff after that,” he said.
“They will be described as 200 percent at a very high rate. We will give them a certain time to bring their movements together.”
