Putin’s freed convicts kill 1,000 Russian civilians in drunken rampage | World | News

Since his invasion of Ukraine, Putin has released tens of thousands of murderers, rapists and bandits from prisons on the condition that they fight for him on the front lines as soldiers.

More than 1,000 Russian civilians have been killed by Vladimir Putin’s violent soldiers. Shameful consequences include fighters committing drunken attacks while on leave from combat or committing murder in border areas close to where they are based.

Many of those who commit these crimes subsequently receive no punishment because they are simply sent back to the front lines.

All they need to escape prison at any stage, no matter how far into the investigation, trial or even after sentencing, is to risk their bodies once again in Ukraine.

The sickening number of 1,045 cases involving Russian soldiers accused of murder or deadly attacks against the country’s own citizens was revealed by independent news organization Mediazona, which combed through court records.

The calculation only includes people who were still soldiers at the time of their crime; They are not former prisoners of the Putin-backed Wagner private army or demobilized combatants tried in civilian courts. Although the exact number is unknown, these killers further increase the death toll.

The horrific crimes committed by Putin’s rogue warriors against civilians include Tsyren-Dorzhi Tsyrenzhapov, who joined the war in Ukraine from prison where he was serving a 14-year sentence for murder, killing a 22-year-old woman during an argument and later dismembering her body.

Alexei Nakvakin, a mobilized soldier, killed a woman with a Kalashnikov during an argument. He did not approve of the war in Ukraine.

It was alleged that 28-year-old ex-convict Ivan Rossomakhin returned from the war to his village in the Kirov region and killed his 85-year-old neighbor Yulia Buiskykh in her home.

44-year-old volunteer fighter Alexander Mamayev stabbed his wife Ekaterina to death in front of their children during a break from fighting in Ukraine.

Putin’s mercenary, 31-year-old Demyan Kevorkyan, and his accomplices allegedly killed two people.

Vasily Murachev, 33, a mercenary with an extensive criminal history, shot and killed one person and injured another in a cafe in Angarsk, Irkutsk region.

38-year-old convict Igor Sofonov, who joined the Storm Z detachment of the Russian defense ministry, allegedly killed six people together with his accomplice.

Svetlana, 38, was brutally beaten by her boyfriend Sergei, who has been fighting in Ukraine since 2022. The woman fell into a coma a week after the beating and died in the hospital.

31-year-old mercenary Vladimir Vlasov beat his four-year-old stepdaughter Katia to death upon his return from Ukraine.

According to Russian security affairs expert Mark Galeotti, crimes committed by soldiers on parole “have a serious impact on the country” ABC.
