Kim Kardashian knows a thing or two about public love, and on Tuesday she used one of the weapons in her relationship arsenal: the love-struck beach photo shoot.
Kim, 45, and her new boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, 41, were photographed having fun cooling off in the Malibu surf. During a paddle boarding session with a PDA-filled plunge into the ocean.
Dressed in a bikini top and black wetsuit unzipped to the waist, Kim certainly looked smitten with the F1 star, but was the beach shoot just another performance stunt from the media-savvy mogul?
Body language expert Judi James admits that at first glance the photos’ ‘fashion-tinged perfection’ seems like a prime example of performance-based PDA.
The timing of the photos is questionable; We’re less than two weeks away from the Kardashian family’s biggest red carpet occasion of the year.
“With one last dress being made at the Met Ball and her two sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner currently making out with white-hot stars Timothee Chalamet and Jacob Elordi, it’s easy to imagine that Kim might be under pressure to launch Lewis hard, as she clearly does here,” says James.

But on closer inspection, James reveals there’s evidence this new love is real, with three body language clues revealing how the couple really feels about each other.
‘First of all, there is the setting. Beach shots and embraces in shallow water are photogenic. “But Kim also took Lewis into deep water that was almost invisible from the cameras,” notes James.
‘PR photos usually stop when the poses are over but this looked more like a real, shared swimming date.’
Secondly, ‘Kim’s animated facial expressions during her swims with Lewis also show genuine enjoyment and playful enjoyment.’

The new couple were first spotted together at the beginning of February when news leaked of their secret, romantic weekend trip to the UK.
Kim and Lewis chose celeb-favorite Estelle Mansion for their weekend away, before using a series of major cultural events as the venue for their first public date.
After being friends for more than a decade, they went public for the first time in February, sitting together in the same VIP booth at the Super Bowl.
In March, Kim flew to Japan while Lewis competed at the Tokyo Grand Prix.
They were last seen together during the weekend of the Coachella Festival in California this month and have since gone official on Instagram.
A source previously said the couple had an ‘intense’ relationship and added that his family ‘adores’ him.
