Two major injury concerns at the MCG.

Essendon’s Archie Roberts was picked up with a dislocated shoulder and taken to the rooms. He didn’t go through the intersection, so he was done for the afternoon.

In a separate incident, Melbourne’s Lukas Cooke was ruled out with a cheekbone injury. He was hit during a marking contest which also left Ben McKay suffering a head injury.

McKay was out for the blood rule but came back with a big bandage.

But it faces another concern: MRO inspection. McKay appears to be annoying Ed Langdon by engaging Jake Lever in a marking contest.
