The 74-second clip, posted on X by the Toronto Crime Watch account, begins with screams as it pans out to one woman in a pink bikini already on the ground near the entrance to the park, being hit and kicked by a few people, including a man striking her with an unknown object.
While many people looked on, including several children, another woman in a black one-piece runs over to try to stop the attack on the defenceless woman but the group quickly turns their attention to her as she attempts to flee.
The woman is then seen being chased into a store as a worker tries to stop people from following her, but the shop is quickly swarmed as screams could be heard.
The store employee is shoved as she tries her best to hold people back from the woman, as they are both hit by the group.

Things eventually died down as those responsible for the violence appeared to leave the park.
However, people on social media were shocked by the turn of events.
“So, no security on the premises?” one X user asked.
Another called it an “absolutely disgrace,” then asked, “When did beating a defenseless woman become entertainment?”
Others questioned why people were just standing by and watching, but one person noted how the woman in the black swimsuit “tried to stop it and the mob turned on her and she rightfully ran like hell.”
They added: “She knew she could easily be the next defenceless woman getting beaten while on the ground.”

Peel Regional Police told the Toronto Sun that they received a call just before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday about a “large group of people fighting near the front entrance” and “a reported altercation amongst two different groups of people.”
However, the fight had already dispersed by the time cops arrived.
There were no serious physical injuries reported, and no criminal charges laid, police said.
