Mulholland stable hoping Elite Power has country cup start on horizon
Earlier the stable backs the strong six-year-old Shadow Dane, who had a significant chance in the BM 66 Hcp over 1418 metres, before Vicious Rumor challenged a winnable Maiden Hcp over 1318 metres.
But the local rivalry doesn’t end there ahead of its first meeting in 2026.
Brett Robb’s team will be sure to finish the meeting with a bang, starting with the penultimate BM 66 Hcp over 1018 metres, through a pair of stablemates who can dominate the sprint.
Smart five-year-old Wasted Days is back on her first run since Saturday Highway in mid-July with the inside draw, while seven-year-old Press Forward is reloading after BM 58 Hcp’s fast finish and third win here.
Then, at the close of the Grade 2 Hcp (1318m), the Robb camp carries the talented four-year-old Romantik Aşk and looks to claim his second win from his last four with a fast eight-day back-up.
