Blackley incident LIVE: Armed police rush to Greater Manchester street | UK | News

Armed police stormed a street in Greater Manchester this evening. Emergency services, including an air ambulance and armed police, were called to the incident in Blackley. They remained at the scene and formed a cordon along the entrance to Somerton Court on Broadmoss Drive.

While eyewitnesses said that many detectives were identified, the forensic unit was also called. The police incident also caused travel problems in the local area. Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: “Broadmoss Road is partially blocked in both directions due to police incident near Grange Park Road.”
