Vijayawada, Vizag Metro Rail Projects To Be Ready In 3 years: Narayana

Vijayawada: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana made sure that the metro railway projects in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam will be completed in the next three years.
The statement made the testimony after the signing of the Minister (MO) in the presence of the Minister in the AP Capital Region Development Authority office in Vijayawada between NP Ramakrishna Reddy and two consultancy General Manager of AP Metro Rail Corporation.
Narayana said Typsa will be interested in the supervision of Vijayawada metro designs, technology and work. Shistra will do this for Visakhapatnam Metro. Metro railway projects are discussed in two cities according to the 2014 EP reorganization law.
The minister said the tenders were called for the implementation of the Metro Railway Project in Visakhapatnam on Friday. Tenders for the Vijayawada subway will be called within a day or two.
Authorized, the state government will provide 20 percent of the subway railway projects, the center will provide 20 percent more share, he said. The center allowed a 30 -year term to mobilize the rest of the amount as a soft loan from international organizations at low interest rate.
Narayana, Metro Removal Bengaluru, Haydarabad, Nagpur and other places, including India, including the traffic problems witnessed the world, he noted.
Authorized, Visakhapatnam Metro Railway construction will be under the auspices of Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Development Company in two stages. In the first stage, a total of 46 km metro line will be built with 42 stations. In general, the total cost of Vizag metro will be built on three corridors with 11.490 Crore.
The Minister said that the first stage of Vijayawada Metro will be built with the cost of 10.118 Crore under the auspices of the Capital Region Development Administration (CRDA). It will be 32.40 km long and will have two corridors.
