“Ryan Kelly will most likely be out this week. He’s doing well considering his symptoms and condition. Frankly, I’m disappointed this happened,” Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said.
“And let’s go back and look at not just the game, but the sequences during the game and after the game, if there’s anything there that we can avoid. But no, it’s just part of the game. And Ryan knows that.

“I have a lot of respect for Ryan as a player, the time he put in to get back on the field, the fight, and feeling ready. We were falling behind a little bit beyond that. Then, when he came back on the field, the impact he had on our offense the last few games was huge. So we need Jurgs (Michael Jurgens) to step up and play a big role for us. And I know Ryan will do whatever he can to help. Jurgs is getting ready to go.”
O’Connell did not confirm whether Kelly would play in the final game of the season against the Green Bay Packers.
The Indianapolis Colts selected Kelly with the 18th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He started all 16 games that year. He played nine years with the Colts and earned all-Pro Bowl selections with the team.
