Viral clip shows Indian family struggling to order breads, internet can’t stop laughing

In the clip, RJ Abhinav and his family are seen ordering various dishes like dal makhani, kadhai paneer, butter chicken, hara bhara kebab and tikka.
India, the land of different cultures and cuisines, is famous for its wide variety of delicious breads that appeal to all tastes and preferences. From the spicy, flaky layers of a well-made paratha to the buttery flavor of naan, Indian breads have become an integral part of the country’s culinary identity. With more than 30 varieties of rotis to choose from, it’s no surprise that every bread order at any Indian restaurant requires serious discussion. A video shared by RJ Abhinav on Instagram captures the seemingly effortless struggle every family faces when ordering their own bread.
In the clip, RJ Abhinav and his family are seen ordering various dishes like dal makhani, kadhai paneer, butter chicken, hara bhara kebab and tikka. However, things change when the waiter asks for the bread order. Abhinav asks his parents about their preferences, which leads to a heated argument about whether to order butter/plain tandoori roti or garlic naan. The conversation quickly becomes complicated as the family argues over the number of slices to get with each order. This then leads to another argument where everyone has different opinions about the size of the bread.
Just when they thought they had finished their order, their mother interrupted them by wanting to make one more change. The family is left to think, and before they can confirm their order, the waiter cancels the order, announcing that the kitchen is closed for the night. As the video ends with the family leaving the restaurant in disappointment, viewers can’t help but laugh at the familiar situation.
Social media reactions:
One user wrote: “Can’t go wrong! Choosing the bread is important.”
“This is every family’s struggle and it’s the hardest part,” another said.
“Perfect,” one viewer commented.
One foodie asked: “Is this a universal order for all families and a confusion for rotis?”
