Sworn -in accountants will be allowed up to 60 tax inspection in an individually financial year.

Sworn -in financial advisors will be allowed by only 60 to 60 years, and the ICA will decide to implement the limit as of April 1, 2026. There are more than four Lakh members of the Indian Certificate of Financial Advisors (ICAI), which also organizes sworn financial advisors. On Friday, ICAI President Charanjot Singh Nanda said that the limit of 60 tax inspections is already present, but a privileged accountant was allowed to conduct inspections for the partners.

For example, if there are four partners in a audit company, each common can audit for another partner. While the audit firm can audit up to 240, a partner can now make more than 60 inspections. It was decided to limit tax audits to 60 for an individual partner. In a briefing in the national capital, Nanda said, “From April 1, 2026, it will be in force as of the next financial year.”

The 60 limit will be the total limit of all tax audits signed by a member (sworn -in financial advisor) both in the individual capacity and as a partner of a company. In addition, a company’s partner cannot sign any tax audit report on behalf of another partner. In addition, there will be certain relaxation at the border. “We have control over everything with udin. We work completely for ill -treatment (blocking),” he said.

In cases where the signatures and complaints of the sworn financial advisors were beaten, the ICAI has put into practice the ICI Document ID Number (UDIN) system. UDİN is a unique number for each document approved or approved by an practical accountant. Meanwhile, the deadline for sending comments about the directives of international networking for domestic authorized accountant companies was extended until 16 July.

At the beginning of this month, ICAI issued a draft of international network -creating instructions, and the movement is part of the efforts to expand the access of rented accountant companies and create large indigenous assets that can compete globally. “These guidelines aim to encourage networking between the judicial powers related to a registered and registered institution between the ICA and one or more rented accountant firm (s) registered with ICAI,” ICAI said.
