Hammonton helicopter crash LIVE: ‘Two choppers collide’ near Municipal Airport, New Jersey | World | News

It was reported that two helicopters collided near Hammonton Municipal Airport in New Jersey, USA.

In the footage, a helicopter can be seen circling in the air. One person is confirmed dead.

Hammonton Police Chief Kevin Friel said rescuers responded to a report of an aviation crash around 11:25 a.m. Sunday, and then police and fire crews extinguished the flames that engulfed one of the helicopters.

One person died in the incident, and another person was taken to nearby hospitals and his life was stated to be in danger. In the video taken from the scene, the helicopter can be seen rapidly turning towards the ground.

Friel said the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board have been notified and will investigate the crash.
