Virginia Giuffre’s family celebrates after Prince Andrew drops royal titles over alleged Epstein ties
The family of the late Virginia Giuffre, who accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, is celebrating the royal’s relinquishment of her titles amid ongoing disputes over her ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The family called Andrew, who denied all wrongdoing, including Giuffre’s allegations. from now on he will lose his title of prince.
In a statement released by Buckingham Palace earlier on Friday, Andrew said discussions with the King had led to a decision to relinquish his remaining titles, including Duke of York, because “the ongoing allegations against me are a distraction from the work of Her Majesty and the royal family”.
Giuffre, who died by suicide earlier this year, was one of the first people to publicly speak out about accusations against Epstein and became an outspoken advocate for his alleged victims.
Giuffre claims she had sex with Prince Andrew on multiple occasions as a young victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking ring, which she denies.
