Virginia Giuffre’s family urge Andrew to ‘come clean’ about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and call for meeting with King Charles

Virginia Giuffre’s grieving family have called on Andrew to ‘come clean’ about his friendship with convicted pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Sky Roberts and his wife Amanda praised King Charles for stripping Andrew of his titles and said they would welcome a meeting with the King ‘with open arms’.
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been facing allegations for many years that he sexually harassed Ms Giuffre after she was trafficked by Epstein, which Giuffre vehemently denied.
Ms Giuffre claimed she was forced to have sex with Andrew three times, including when she was 17 and during an orgy after he was trafficked by Epstein.
Andrew paid millions to settle a civil sex case with her in 2022, despite insisting he had never met her.
His family told Sky News they believed it was time for Andrew to ‘come out’.
Asked what she would say to Andrew, Ms. Giuffre’s sister-in-law, Amanda Roberts, said: ‘I would say, ‘Think about your daughters.’ They were the same age. Think about what you would do if something like this happened to them. What do you want the perpetrator to do?
‘I think it’s long past time to come clean. You were great friends with this guy and there are a lot of things you could help bring to light.
‘Virginia deserves this, and every survivor trapped in that sex trafficking ring deserves this from you. ‘If you can give a hint of justice, then it is your responsibility to do so’.
Sky and Virginia Giuffre’s brother and sister-in-law Amanda Roberts praised King Charles for stripping Andrew of his titles and said they would welcome a meeting with the King ‘with open arms’.

Mr Roberts said he would love to meet the King while telling Charles to tell US President Donald Trump to “put on his big pants” and release the Epstein files.
‘I would love the opportunity to tell my sister’s story to the palace. “When you see someone face to face, we can really express that emotion and convey the story that not only they have, but that every survivor has,” he said.
‘And if the King says he stands with the survivors and victims, then meet us and talk to us.
‘We are real people with real stories that can affect real change, and I think my sister has done something unprecedented that says advocacy can affect change. But I would welcome this conversation with open arms and be in London tomorrow.’
He also praised the King, claiming His Majesty ‘sets a roadmap and precedent for the rest of the world’.
Mr Roberts said: ‘The King sets a roadmap and precedent for the rest of the world: ‘I stand with the survivors and will hold my own brother to account.’
‘It is not enough for a free man to wander around. It should be investigated and [the American government] ‘They are guarding these documents and keeping it locked in their little pandora’s box of people involved and we need to fully investigate them.’
Reflecting on the past 24 hours, Mr Roberts said: ‘There have been many moments of celebration and moments of sadness that he is not here to celebrate. It’s a situation full of mixed emotions, but we’re determined not to let his voice die.’
Speaking on BBC Newsnight last night, Mr Roberts said: ‘This is not enough; We need to do some kind of investigation that will go deeper into this issue. Still wandering around a free man.
‘I admire the King – I think he’s doing a great job as an exemplary world leader – but we need to take it a step further: he (Andrew) needs to be behind bars.’
He also praised the King for his statement at Buckingham Palace yesterday, expressing his “thoughts and utmost sympathies” to the “victims and survivors of all forms of abuse”.
Amanda also told Newsnight she supported the idea of a joint US-UK investigation.

“I think both countries should consider cooperating here; the US government holds the key to the broader coverage of the Jeffrey Epstein case,” he said.
‘The UK exemplifies what the US needs to do now. And I ask your leaders to put pressure on our leaders to do the right thing.’
Yesterday, Ms. Guiffre’s family released a statement following the announcement, proudly stating that “an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family, with her integrity and extraordinary courage, overthrew a British prince.”
‘Our sister, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, was a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, and she never stopped fighting to take responsibility for what happened to her and countless survivors like her,’ they said.
‘Today he declares victory. ‘We, her family, along with her surviving sisters, continue Virginia’s fight and will not rest until the same accountability applies to Jeffrey Epstein and all of his abusers and enablers associated with Ghislaine Maxwell.’
The Metropolitan Police did not rule out a possible investigation when contacted by the Daily Mail.
Making a bombshell statement yesterday, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the 65-year-old will no longer be a Prince and will leave the 30-bed Royal Lodge on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

It comes after the Mail on Sunday exclusively revealed scandalous correspondence in which the ostracized prince told Epstein “we’re in this together”, a day after the royal’s infamous photo of his then-alleged teenage sex victim Miss Giuffre was released.
As Andrew’s links to the disgraced financier continue to bring shame to the royal family, last night he finally agreed to give up his Windsor lease, where he resided for more than two decades with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, by paying ‘pepper rent’.
Sources have revealed that the former Duchess of York, who is herself embroiled in the scandal involving sex offender Epstein, will ‘make her own arrangements’ when it comes to her future.
It is understood that the King was in the process of sending royal orders to the Lord Chancellor to strip his brother of his titles and honours, but Andrew did not object.
Her Majesty’s younger brother will now be exiled to a private estate at the monarch’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, but no further details have been shared. It is understood that Prince William and the Royal Family fully support the King’s decision.
While Andrew has been completely excluded from royal life – he has no title, no rank or even the right to call himself ‘prince’ – royal expert Joe Little, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, questioned why he remains eighth in line to the throne.
He said this morning: ‘I’m sure someone will soon ask why he hasn’t left the line of succession, if they haven’t already.
‘Given what lies ahead, it is clear that his becoming king would be a great disaster. Wouldn’t it be better then to remove him from the line of succession?’

Andrew is an advisor of state who could effectively replace the King, but this role has previously been described as ‘inactive’. Mr Little suggested it might also be ‘more orderly’ if the role were removed from Andrew’s portfolio.
Yesterday, anti-monarchy campaign group Republic said it had instructed lawyers to investigate the prince and, if appropriate, pursue legal proceedings in a private case.
The Daily Mail understands the allegations it focuses on relate to accusations that he sexually assaulted Ms Giuffre, asking a royal protection officer to investigate his background and impropriety while serving as an official UK trade envoy.
Republic said it was making its own efforts to take him to court because the legal and political response to the allegations to date has been “weak and inadequate.”
He said he had put forward ‘a strong, principled argument for ensuring justice for victims of sexual abuse and holding accountable those who corrupt public officials’.
‘If not us, who?’ asked Graham Smith, the group’s chief executive. ‘That we should seek private prosecution is a devastating indictment of the UK’s criminal justice system, police and politicians (not to mention the king and his heir).
‘I firmly believe there is strong enough evidence to justify a serious investigation.’
Last night the group said Andrew’s sentence was ‘nowhere near enough’, adding: ‘He lost a bunch of meaningless titles and moved to another mansion. As always, avoiding any real punishment.

‘He will never be an ‘ordinary person’; Ordinary people cannot avoid being accused of sexual abuse.’
Last week, the controversy over the Royal Lodge continued to grow amid damning revelations in Andrew’s memoirs published after the death of Ms Giuffre, who accused him of sexual misconduct and committed suicide this year at the age of 41.
Ms. Giuffre’s explosive book, Nobody’s Daughter: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and the Fight for Justice, was published this month and the manuscript was completed before she died.
Inside, she detailed her years as a sex slave to Epstein and Britain’s Madame Maxwell, amid allegations that she was kidnapped three times by the former duke, whom he described as “entitled” and saw sex as her “birthright”.
In the 400-page autobiography, she also claimed the former duke said “thank you” in a “shortened British accent” after they first met when she was 17.
He also recalled how Maxwell praised him after the encounter: ‘Good job, the prince enjoyed himself.’
Andrew has denied meeting Ms. Giuffre. In 2022, she filed a lawsuit for damages in the US for £12 million, reportedly seeking help from her mother, Queen Elizabeth II, to help cover the costs. He reportedly received money from Elizabeth.
The agreement was made without any admission of liability.
