Vivek Agnihotri says he had to borrow money for flight tickets to promote The Bengal Files: ‘Nobody…’

Vivek Agnihotri is now opened up about his financial struggles and revealed that he had to borrow money for the film’s promotions only to travel to Delhi.
Vivek Agnihotri’s latest film Bengal Files made a slow opening at the box office and won 1.63 RS (India Net) on the first day. This is less than the 2022 version that collects 3.55 RS Crore on the first day.
The filmmaker has now opened up about his financial struggles and revealed that he had to borrow money only to travel to Delhi for the film’s promotions. He said that his biggest challenge was “that he did not support our film until the last minute”.
Speaking with Galata Plus, Vivek said that all profits from Kashmir files were deposited to make Bengal files. “I don’t know what to happen to me next [financially]. The problem is that our passion is to create something worth RS 100 Crore, but we have very small money, so we need to look at every penny and do it faster, so we need to finish the shooting on shorter days, “he added.
The director also shared that the financial struggle was fixed since he began to make films struggling with disturbing facts. He faced difficulties in a traffic congestion, tashkest files and Kashmir files with Buddha, and even today he admitted that money remained an obstacle. Recently, he said he had just had to find out how to borrow money to fly to Delhi and promote Bengal files.
Vivek on the possibility of the sequel, announced that the film will depend on box office performance. However, even if the gains to the fans were humble, he made sure that he would continue with the second part.
“We made the Kashmir files with a budget of 15 RS. We won 30 RS Crore from this film. We have invested in Bengal files.
Bengal files Mithun Chakraborty, Simran Khan, Pallavi Joshi, AnuPam Kher, Simratt Kaur and Darshan Kumarr.
