Epping hotel migrant accidentally freed from prison boarded train | News

Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy said Epping hotel migrant Hadush Kebatu, who was mistakenly released from prison, was “at large in London”.
Efforts to catch Kebatu, who was accidentally released while he was in prison for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl, continue today (October 25).
The Ethiopian national, who lived at the Bell Hotel in Epping, was sentenced to 12 months in prison in September.
Mr Lammy said on Friday night that Kebatu was “at large in London” after he was seen boarding a train in Chelmsford and that the Metropolitan Police had helped capture him.
