Vuelta a Espana: Final stage abandoned because of pro-Palestinian protests in Madrid

The final stage of Vuelta A Espaana was abandoned after entering a portion of the pro -Palestinian protesters in the center of Madrid.

Protesters overturned barriers and occupied the path at various points of the course, including the Gran VIA, which should pass more than once.

More than 1000 police officers were deployed on the streets of the Spanish capital and demonstrations are expected.

This year’s vuelta has been a variety of protests against the Premier Technology team and forced some stages to be shortened.
