Monalisa Bhosle accuses director of ‘misbehaving’ with minor girls

Monalisa Bhosle, the young woman who rose to fame at last year’s Prayagraj Kumbh Mela, on Tuesday alleged that a film director she knows misbehaved with underage girls in the name of the film.

She made the allegation at a press conference here and also sought help from the Central and State governments of Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, claiming that she and her husband were receiving death threats.

The young woman, together with her husband, told reporters here that their posters were burned and the couple received death threats from people.

He also claimed that the director spoke badly about him and would not include him in his films.

“Who would want to take part in his movies? He is such a bad and disgusting person. He misbehaves with little girls in the name of movies. I’m even ashamed to say his name,” he said.

She also requested the Center and the Uttar Pradesh governments not to make false allegations against her husband regarding their marriage.

“We got married in a temple according to Hindu rituals. Everyone in the country knows this. The director wants extremism to happen and people to fight with each other. He calls our marriage a love jihad. I respect all religions,” he said.
