Want to get paid £70,000 to move to a remote island? Here’s how – but there’s a catch

Have you ever dreamed of living on a remote island? To do this, you can pay 70,000 £ (€ 84,000).

The Irish government pays individuals to renew a property in one of the remote sea islands of the country.

Part of the “Living Islands” policy, the initiative aims to increase the population of distant communities on the western coast of Ireland.

Anyone can apply and do not need to be a Irish citizen to benefit.
