Leopard’s Sightings Trigger Panic On Udayagiri–Bandaganipalli Ghat Road

Nellore: Drivers and residents experienced tension after some motorists spotted a leopard on the Udayagiri-Bandaganipalli ghat road in Nellore district.

According to reports, the big cat was seen by passing motorists late on Monday night. Some drivers slowed or stopped their vehicles to see him.

The leopard is believed to have been sighted numerous times in the area by regular commuters and nearby villagers.

Following the observation on Monday, local people immediately informed the Forest Department, and personnel came to the scene and conducted a detailed investigation. During the search, they found paw prints of the leopard, confirming the presence of the wild animal in the area.

Forest officials have issued an advisory urging the public to be careful while traveling on the ghat road, especially at night. Citizens in the region were urged to avoid night travel.
