Warangal CP Sunpreet Singh wins bronze as Commissionerate shines at State police sports meet

Superintendent of Police Sunpreet Singh won the bronze medal in the table tennis gazetted officers’ singles category at the 4th State Level Police Games and Sports Meet hosted by Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. His win added to the impressive medal tally for Warangal Commissionerate, who had one of their strongest performances in recent years.
The six-day match concluded on Saturday and Warangal finished third overall by winning 86 medals, including 12 gold, 25 silver and 49 bronze, with outstanding performances in archery and judo. For the first time in its history, Warangal Commissionerate won bronze medals in football as well as bronze medals in tug of war and weightlifting. The boxing fraternity also contributed to numerous bronze medals.
Warangal officers continued their winning streak as ACP Jitender Reddy and ACP Madhusudhan won the gold medal in the doubles badminton event for civil servants. In table tennis, police officer Tulsi Das won the gold medal in the open category. The Commissariat also had success in lawn tennis; Additional DCP Srinivas and ACPs Nagaiah and Narsaiah bagged silver in the gazetted category, while SI Suresh Kumar and constable Venu bagged silver in the open category. Odelu and Sriramulu added another silver in the 50+ badminton class and ACPs Antaiah and Madhusudhan won silver in table tennis doubles.
