Trekkies rejoice: Star Trek’s 60th birthday bonanza
Many franchises did not fuel the timeless spell of society with unlimited possibilities of a utopian future like Star Trek.
Next year, the expanding franchise will add more shows, lego sets and even a rose gate ceremony in the celebration of the 60th anniversary.
The heavy series of “Fan -Centered” celebrations was announced by the franchise on the 59th anniversary known as Star Trek Day on Monday. In the first wave of projects, Param Paramount said in a statement.
“The 60th anniversary celebrates the area for everyone, expanding an open invitation to celebrate the future of Star Trek – a future of hope, the future of discovery and the difficulty of being brave.”
Sci -fi franchise began in 1966 with the TV series created by Roddenberry, which has been released in 1966 and spread to a billion dollar cultural phenomenon since then.
Today, fans, known as Trekkies, enjoyed countless films, Spinoff shows and video games based on the original series.
The Milky Way in the future, the series, which is located in a few hundred years, followed the crew behind the Starship USS Enterprise.
