Washington D.C. restaurant sells $95 bottle of water sourced from a 15,000-year-old iceberg

A Michelin -starred restaurant on the Washington DC sells a $ 95 bottle of water from Greenland iceberg.

In Inn in Little Washington, there is a “water menu” that offers drinks collected from glaciers and other water sources from all over the world, and Berg water is the melted ruins of the 15,000 -year -old iceberg.

Speaking about the $ 95 bottle of water, Cameron Smith said to the Times newspaper in Inn in Little Washington: “Very aromatic for a real water.

“I have to make a profit. When you get this water, very light -bodied. Very mysterious, very old, worldly quality.”

The cheapest beverage is free virginia water.

The waters in the menu are scored depending on how salty, sweet or smooth.

Vichy Catalan from Spain was considered the “most salty”, while the waters from Virginia, California and Romania were described as “sweetest”.

Patrick O’Connell, the chief and owner of Inn in Little Washington, told Eater: “Now we can create a water menu that matches our menu.

“These waters are very unique. Some of them are 3,000 -year -old underground glaciers. They never came into contact with air. The varieties, tastes and textures of these waters are absolutely fascinating,”
