Conditions are more suitable for donkeys this year than last year.

John Horsley was a horticulture when he felt a wild bee pulling his T -shirt down.

“This puts me from behind a few times, or he says. “It wasn’t a pleasant experience.”

John, a part of the British Pest Control Association, is knowledgeable for problems that donkeys can cause door breaking picnics or beer gardens on a summer day and cause disturbing nests.

After a decrease in WASP recording in the last summer, its industry says it is more intense than the problems caused by the donkeys this year. They may include large nests that appear at the beginning of the season.

The donkey is still raising their young people, but in the summer, they tend to gather in public areas looking for a sugary snack before they die.

So this, will the wild bee be a summer? “We don’t have insects and plagues,” Mr. Horsley explains. “But every few years, Wasps will have a strong year and this year coincides with certain weather conditions – very hot and very dry this year – a very good year for them.”

Met Office says that we have been having the hottest spring for more than 50 years. Last year, Britain spent the coolest writing for nine years.

Prof Seirian Sumner of London University College London, one of the world’s leading WASP experts, pays attention to the scientific data on WASP numbers will not be published for some time.

However, the feeling of intestinal will be a good year for donkeys based on all signs, air and other insect populations “.

Can build donkey nests on the roof.

England has about 9,000 donkeys – most of them are alone, so they don’t live in large colonies, and they are often not a problem for people.

Social donkeys like a common wild bee is only a small number of Vespula vulgarisThe most common for interaction with people. According to the 2021 Yougov survey, the second most popular insect in the UK after the spider.

However, Prof Sumner and other WASP experts say that WASPs are not bad.

“They are really important parts of my ecosystem – they are Apex predators, or he says.

“Remove an upper hunter from any system, such as the lion of Serengeti, will not be controlled by predators in AV populations.

“And donkey free, natural pest controllers – so they do business in our gardens, wild landscapes, farming landscapes. They help to keep pests away.”

Living with donkeys – without inserting

Nikki Banfield from the insect Charity Buglife says we need to look at Wasps.

“Many people don’t like donkeys, they classify them as angry bees, but they really have a valid purpose in the natural world,” he says.

In this broader natural world, recent studies have widespread in global insect populations, some insect species are pushed to disappear.

Insect loss is linked to intense agriculture, insecticides and climate change, linked to comprehensive results for many birds, amphibians, bats and reptiles based on insects for food.

However, the common wild bee, this tendency – the stable population in the last 100 years – with the house whore, the cockroach and the European donkey, which increased throughout England and moves to the north as the climate heats up.

The donkey uses poisonous stings to suppress their prey and defend their nests.

In 2016, the invasive Asian or yellow -footed donkeys came to England in 2016.

And after a bad year for the butterflies in 2024, natural scientists say that many common species such as big white have developed this summer.

According to experts, Ladybirds seems to enjoy warmer temperatures.

So, fortunately for the ecosystem – but perhaps unlucky for our picnics – Wasps seems to be developing in England here.

Then how can we live happily with each other?

Ms. Banfield suggests that we leave something sweet like a small jam or orange juice, which is a short distance from the picnic area to distract insects.

Not screaming among other practical tips, not beating your arms or swating on the donkey, because it will agit and make them more aggressive.

WASP stings can cause a public health risk – they can cause anaphylactic shock – Mr. Horsley says it has some advice.

“Don’t bother them. Stay away from them as much as possible and talk to a professional if it needs to be treated.”
