WaveX invites startups to develop AI-powered real-time multilingual translation solution

The Union Information and the Ministry of Publication launched Wavex Startup Challenge 2025, inviting initiatives throughout the country to participate in a national hackathona to develop an AI -supported multilingual translation solution to be called ‘Bhashasetu’.

The Ministry said on Monday, “Difficulty aims to encourage the development of innovative artificial intelligence vehicles with real -time translation, translation and voice localization in at least 12 major Indian languages. Entry, inclusive, accessible and emotion -giving communication technologies,” he said.

The difficulty does not have minimum conformity criterion and allows the implementation of initiatives in any stage of development. “Beginnings are encouraged to be scaled and cost -effective solutions using open source or low -cost AI models.

The winning support will be provided under the Wavex acceleration, including mentoring, work area and development aid until the final product is completed and distributed.

The records of the struggle will be open between 30 June – 22 July.
