WBAY-TV announces new weekend meteorologist after Keith Gibson’s departure

Wbay-tv, Channel 2 found the new weekend meteorologist.

Nolan Cain is taking action to join the air team at the Green Bay Station from Kentucky to his hometown Paducah, Kentucky. Announced on Facebook on August 27th.

Meteorologist Nolan Cain, the new weekend meteorologist Green Bay in the city center WBAY-TV, Channel 2 joined.

Cain is currently training at the station and will be published on September 6 at 18:00 Facebook post from Cain On August 20, he shows that he was standing next to the statue of “I Love GB” in Citydeck in the city center.

Soon, I will go north for a little colder and snow potential, and ABC members by joining the air team on WBay-TV!” Cain wrote on Facebook. “The prediction style you see will go there with me, I hope it will give you a new and unique perspective behind stronger storms and probably more profit activity.”

Cain spent the last three years in NBC affiliated organization WPSD-TV In Paducah, he started as an intern in the summer of 2022 and received a bachelor’s degree in the world, environment and atmosphere science from Western Kentucky University.

In May, when he accepted a meteorologist at Wish-TV four years later, he fills the weekend gap left by Meteorologist Keith Gibson. Free meteorologist Colleen Mehlberg While the station is looking for the permanent backups of Gibson, it has been helping in weekend broadcasts since the end of June.

Mehlberg will still appear in Wbay “occasionally” and is considered part of the station’s air family, Beylon Beylon said on Facebook.
