We bought the poisoned limoncello that killed our daughter and her fiance in Vietnam, distraught parents reveal as they fight for justice

In Vietnam, after drinking toxic Limoncellos, the parents of a woman who died next to her fiancée, said that she ordered a drink as a Christmas gift.
33 -year -old Greta Otteston and 36 -year -old Arno Quinton were found dead on the boxing day at Hoi An as a result of methanol poisoning.
Greta lived in Hoi An, with the South African partner, where the couple runs a villa for tourists.
71 -year -old family Paul and 70 -year -old Susan, BBC How did they travel to Vietnam in November to meet Arno for the first time.
The family ate together at a well -known Italian restaurant called Good Morning Vietnam, which offered free shots of Limoncello after their meals.
Shortly after their visits, the couple announced that they were engaged.
When Paul and Susan came home, they decided to order a bottle of Limoncello from the restaurant to be delivered to their daughters as a Christmas gift for a happy couple.
Just a few hours after drinking Limoncello, Greta told his family that he had a terrible evening and saw black spots.

His family and a friend told him to get medical aid, but he brushed his suggestions and said he would reach out to it.
On the boxing day, Greta and Arno were found dead in separate rooms of their villas.
Mortem examinations found that the couple died of severe methanol poisoning.
The bartender, allegedly made by Limoncello, was arrested in February and is currently held free of charge.
In order to create two bottles of Limoncello, he was arrested on suspicion of ‘violating the regulations on food safety’ using 70 degrees of medical class alcohol used with filtered water, lemon peel and white sugar.
If he is convicted, he can be sentenced to imprisonment of up to 15 years.
Greta’s family says they haven’t heard more than the police.
Methanol is a type of alcohol used in toxic and flammable, fuel or cleaning products.

It is similar to alcoholic beverages, but is usually more expensive.
Methanol is more dangerous for humans because of its way of processing in the body.
Paul described his daughter in Cardiff, Paris and Los Angeles before moving to Vietnam and described it as a ‘magnificent free spirit’.
He described Arno as quiet but clever and said he would ‘love’ to take him as a son -in -law.
Hundreds of charity doctors without borders announced that hundreds of people are poisoned by Methanol every year in South East Asia.
Five weeks ago, six people, including 28 -year -old Simone White, a British lawyer, died after drinking Metanol Lagging with a Laos backpack, which was surrounded by land surrounding Vietnam.
Paul and Susan were warned that the investigations in Vietnam could be a slow process, and the suspects were kept for a year before they were accused or released.
Both Greta and Arno’s ashes are in their homes in Rhandirmwyn, Carmarthenshire. The couple says they can’t rest until they get a ‘appropriate result’.
Paul said: ‘We cannot continue. When we wake up every morning, Susan asks me, “Is there any news? Is there any news?” I have to say, “No, nothing yet.”
‘For us, justice would name people responsible and to prosecute them.’
The couple is also disappointed that the restaurant they ordered to Limoncello is still open and the public is not apologizing.

Since Greta is the only daughter, the couple still suffer from the pain they will have no grandchildren, and Arno will never visit Wales.
After the investigation, they said that they would rest Greta and Arno.
The couple’s friends, after their death, left the social media with sincere tributes: ‘Greta loved Arno unconditionally and was his motherland, gave him the freedom to do what he needed without a courtesy foundation’.
He said: ‘There are two different things that are very prominent in my thoughts and this is his smile and how much love [threw] No matter who is around.
‘They celebrated each other there and I know they will continue to do it wherever they are.’
Arnold’s friend Day and Visser wrote online: ‘Lie in peace, brother. Thank you for being a violent friend. You saved me many times.
“ You have experienced more and more real than most people can imagine. I love you and I will always miss you. ‘
Another close friend to Mr. Quinton sent him voicemail only a few hours before his tragic death.
The friend who prefers not to be named, said that he is very happy and excited about Christmas.
