Government Degree Women’s College Begumpet raves in opening session of Education WeekIt was organized by the Government of Telangana as a part of the 99-day programme. Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika, at Lal Bahadur Stadium on Monday.
Telugu Associate Professor Dr. Rashtrapati Award winner, who had previously won the Best Faculty Award in 2024. N. Mrudula was awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000. Along with it, first-year undergraduate student and international parachutist Banoth Pavani was also gifted a laptop for placing fourth in the All India Rifle Shooting and qualifying for the Paralympics.
The Telangana government also announced to give ₹1 lakh incentive to the institution. Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika program that recognizes the pursuit of academic and extracurricular excellence.
Principal (FAC) Appiyachinnamma and deputy principal T. Bhaskar Reddy congratulated the awardees, terming the awards as “a testament to the continuous learning and discipline at GDCW Begumpet”. Faculty members and students attended the celebration of the achievements.
