Marjorie Taylor Greene says all she heard from Trump’s speech was ‘war war war’

Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) criticized President Trump’s speech Wednesday evening about his administration’s ongoing military operations against Iran.

“I really wanted President Trump to put America first,” Greene said. wrote In a post about X, he wrote, “I believed you would do it. All I heard from your speech tonight is WAR WAR WAR.”

In his 20-minute address to the nation Wednesday evening, the president said his administration was “on track to complete all of America’s military objectives in a short time, in a very short time.”

He also threatened to “hit every single one” of the country’s energy infrastructure if Tehran did not agree to a peace deal in the coming weeks.

“We’re going to hit them hard in the next two to three weeks; we’re going to bring them back to the stone age where they belong,” Trump said. “Meanwhile, negotiations continue”

The retired congressman listed a number of issues he wishes the president would address, including affordability, the national debt, social security funding, insurance costs, employment opportunities, education and the future of the nation.

“I’m beyond done. I pray for our military and their families. I pray for innocent people around the world. I pray for peace and prosperity for all,” Greene wrote on social platform X.

Democratic Senator Andy Kim (NJ) also joined in criticizing the president’s speech and US operations against Iran, calling them “an absolute disaster.” to post.

“He keeps telling us that the war is about to end, but these are just lies. Trump needs to end this,” Kim said. “He cannot be allowed to send troops on the ground. He cannot continue to make the American people pay billions.”

Republicans like Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) praised the administration’s actions in the Middle East.

“President Trump is right about the fanatic regime in Iran,” Scott said. to post. “For too long they chanted death to America, pursued nuclear weapons, and killed Americans.

“The goal is clear, and I am grateful that our military is delivering on the mission,” the senator continued. “As a result, Americans are safer.”
