Travel chaos erupted on Boxing Day as police officers descended on an international airport. On December 26, San Francisco International Airport (SFO) was forced to close the terminal 1 departures level lobby as many people were scheduled to travel.

SFO wrote about US news source Kron4 reported that the police launched a “suspicious package investigation”.
