Sarah Smith: Trump visit showed UK’s warm relations

There is no doubt that Donald Trump was more excited about his talks with Sir Keir Starmer in Dama about the day he spent at Windsor Castle.
And this is not light in the hospitality of the British Prime Minister during this visit to this state, where Trump and his team are willing to praise.
Starmer’s country residence is undoubtedly an impressive meeting place, and there was even an enormous British and American flags to invite the US leader of the US leader to the Buckinghamshire countryside.
However, Trump, as he seems to be really similar to Starmer, was exhibited at a joint press conference on Thursday, and the President was completely begging by the king and the queen on Wednesday.
According to the Chief of General Staff Susie Wiles, the definitive emphasis on the trip was a detailed evening feast for 160 guests in Windsor Castle St George’s Hall that evening.
For Trump, who has a deep and long admiration for the royalities, it is difficult to compete with fried by the king. It doesn’t matter how many jets have been thrown for you in the sky above the damins.
EPASuch state visits allow presidents and prime ministers to connect with each other at a more personal level and provide the chance to establish working relationships of their personnel. It is also the opportunity to show the proximity of relationships at a great stage.
In this sense, he was a smooth sail for both sides.
During the Joint News Conference, there was no real oddity with the potential to reveal disagreement areas.
When one of these problems was asked, Trump’s plan to recognize the Palestinian state of Palestinian state said that he did not agree, but Starmer condemned Prime Minister Hamas a huge smile and a warm slap.
And in another potentially difficult issue, Trump’s dismissal as the US Ambassador to the United States on the relationship between Peter Mandelson with Jeffrey Epstein was unusual. Very little and was postponed to Starmer immediately.
The two leaders argued when they spent Gaza and Ukraine spent almost an hour without their staff in the room. Although they were very friendly during the news conference, it was rapidly revealed that they did not change their positions on key issues they did not attend.
Regardless of the success of such a journey, there are limits of how much any leader can have on Trump.
In the checkers, I asked Wiles, the President of the President, how much the visit would make the difference in the ability to influence the UK’s policy on trade, tariffs and international relations. The answer was clear – none.
Although Trump does not enjoy this state visit very much, he will not change his positions on important global issues due to an unforgettable night at Windsor Castle.
However, after all the splendor and Pageantry, Starmer seems to have gained the right not to participate in Trump with respect at least without paying a diplomatic penalty.
It may be expensive to enter the wrong side of the US president, but by carefully visiting the relationship that Britain has managed to avoid high -punishing high trade tariffs applied to other countries. In the meantime, Starmer was not exposed to a humiliating dress or a humiliating pseudonym was not named.
Although this will never go down to a strange conflict that we see in the Oval Office this year – it is noteworthy that Ukraine’s not only with Volodymyr Zelensky, but with other leaders – a more comfortable Trump approaching questions in a less warrior in Washington.
Did the British Prime Minister play the “Trump” card by organizing this generous state visit? The choreography clearly pleased Trump and First Lady.
And even though Starmer has not gained the ability to change the president’s mind, a fall is now further away than ever.
