Wellbeing influencer, 31, dies in botched fertility surgery after struggling to get pregnant for years
Welfare influencer Gabriela Martins Santos de Moura has died following a botched fertility surgery after struggling to get pregnant.
The 31-year-old patient from Brazil received assisted reproductive treatment at a human fertility clinic on February 17.
It is unclear whether she underwent in vitro fertilization treatment or egg retrieval surgery.
According to local reports, Santos de Moura experienced complications during the procedure and suffered cardiorespiratory arrest.
The woman was hospitalized and transferred to intensive care, but eight days later it was confirmed that she was brain dead.
Her family made a heartbreaking statement on social media and shared the following: ‘It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our Gabriela, whose brain death was confirmed by the medical team today.
‘In this moment of grief, we take comfort in knowing that his love and generosity will remain alive through his decision to continue donating organs, a gesture of tremendous magnitude that will bring hope and life to others just like him.’

A memorial service for the wellness phenomenon was held Wednesday at Santa Rita de Cassia Church.
Santos de Moura was originally from Teresina in the province of Piaui and lived with her husband, Samuel Moura, an orthopedic doctor.
His death reportedly occurred just one day after the couple’s eighth wedding anniversary.
Shocked fans took to social media to mourn the influencer.
‘So sad. “So young and beautiful… May God bless her… May she rest in peace,” one person wrote.
Another said: ‘What a tragic and tragic event, so new and beautiful. May God give patience to family and friends.’
Another said, ‘Comforting God, I will never forget your sweet and sincere advice that strengthened Samuel and his eternal family.’
‘May God comfort the hearts of the family,’ wrote another.

Over the weekend, beauty and fashion influencer Maria Rita Rodrigues da Silva passed away at the age of 25 following a sudden medical emergency.
Her parents shared the sad news and wrote: ‘It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved daughter Maria Rita.’
In a separate post, they added: ‘Unfortunately, Maria suffered a sudden illness and has passed away.’
The exact cause of death was not disclosed.
Maria, from São Bernardo do Campo in Brazil, has reached more than 65,000 followers on TikTok and more than 11,000 followers on Instagram.
She regularly posts beauty and fashion content, as well as selfies, updates on her weight loss journey, and snapshots from her travels, including trips to Peru and Uruguay.
