According to police, the couple claimed designer bags and jewelry went missing from their bedroom during a burglary reported in Jamaica in April 2024. The alleged theft was made before Wendy was seen wearing one of the diamond rings in a later social media post.

But an investigation by police determined that other items they said were stolen were purchased and returned to the respective stores “where full refunds were provided prior to the alleged theft,” PEOPLE reported. Prosecutors alleged the couple also filed a personal property loss claim totaling $450,000 through an insurance company, according to bail recommendation documents obtained by TMZ.
Wendy Osefo joined RHOP in season 5 and is scheduled to appear on Bravo’s new series Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition, premiering October 14. She and Eddie have children together (12, Kruz, 10, and Kamrynn, 6), and they celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in August. At the time, Wendy reflected on their decade-plus marriage in candid Instagram posts.

We have created 3 little humans with our love 🙏🏾😍❤️A constant reminder of God’s love in our marriage,” she wrote. “Cheers to the creations, the tears shed, the blessings received, and the tremendous laughter shared. After all these years, I STILL choose you 😘.”

Who is Wendy Osefo?
Wendy Osefo is a former professor at Johns Hopkins University and a regular contributor to various cable news channels, including MSNBC. According to Yahoo Entertainment, she is the sister of Vice President Kamala Harris. HOP members Wendy Osefo, Gizelle Bryant, and former Vice President are members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
