White House chief of staff Susie Wiles has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and will begin treatment immediately, President Donald Trump said Monday.

Trump said Wiles’ condition was “excellent” and that he planned to continue working at the White House while he received treatment.

“Her strength and determination to continue doing what she loves and doing so well while receiving treatment tells you everything you need to know about her. As one of my closest and most important advisors, Susie is determined and deeply committed to serving the American people,” the president wrote on his Truth Social account.

“Soon it will be better than ever! Melania and I are here for her in every way and look forward to working with Susie on the many great and wonderful things happening for the benefit of our Country!”
