Elon Musk is now a trillionaire. Tesla CEO became the world’s first trillionaire on Friday, June 12, as SpaceX opened at $150 per share on Nasdaq and his stake in the company reached $819 billion, according to an analysis by NBC News. The outlet also noted that Musk owns a $375 billion stake in Tesla, bringing his net worth in both companies to at least $1.2 trillion Eastern time. As the world’s first trillionaire, his net worth exceeds the national GDP of Taiwan, Sweden, Belgium and Argentina.
