ACB Conducts Raids at Nizamabad Municipal Office Over Alleged Irregularities

Nizamabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted searches at the Nizamabad Municipal Office on Wednesday. The raids focused primarily on the City Planning Department, which has recently faced allegations that it granted approvals contrary to regulations and collected large sums of money for building permits.

ACB officials reviewed files, physical records and digital data during the operation. According to preliminary information, the raids were carried out on allegations that licenses were given illegally and bribes were taken for various approvals related to construction.
