When and where to watch IND-W vs AUS-W semifinal live on TV and online?

This marks the third semi-final match between India and Australia in Women’s ODI World Cup history. Australia won the match in Delhi in 1997, but in the semi-final in Derby in 2017, India suffered one of their most important defeats as Harmanpreet scored 171*.

India is facing a tough challenge at home as they prepare to face reigning champions Australia in the semi-finals of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 to be held in Navi Mumbai this Thursday. Australia, which remains undefeated in the tournament, wants to secure its eighth Women’s ODI World Cup title, while India aims to use its home advantage to reach the final for the first time.

The two teams have faced each other before in the group stage; Australia, the top seed in the women’s ODIs here, had successfully chased down a record total by defeating world No. 3 India by three wickets in a thrilling, high-scoring encounter.

Alyssa Healy, who was named Player of the Match in Visakhapatnam after scoring a scintillating century, missed Australia’s last two group matches with a calf injury and her participation in Thursday’s match remained uncertain.

Despite his absence, Healy remained Australia’s top scorer with 294 runs from four matches, while Ashleigh Gardner and Beth Mooney also made significant contributions with the bat.

On the Indian side, opener Pratika Rawal will definitely miss the semi-finals and the rest of the tournament after suffering an ankle injury in the match against Bangladesh last week.

The 25-year-old’s absence is a significant setback for Harmanpreet Kaur and her team as Rawal is the second-highest run-scorer in the 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup behind opening partner Smriti Mandhana.

While Shafali Verma has been called up to replace Rawal in the squad, Amanjot Kaur, Harleen Deol, Uma Chetry and Jemimah Rodrigues are also in contention to partner Mandhana in the batting order.
