Prime Minister Modi will hoist a 51-metre saffron flag atop the main ‘shikhara’ of the Ram Mandir on Tuesday, November 25. Dhwajarohan’, a traditional flag-raising ritual at the temple’s tower, will mark the completion of the temple. The event is being described as the second ‘pran pratistha’, almost a year after Ram Lalla was celebrated at the sanctuary on January 22, 2024.

When is the Shubh Muhurat for this event?

The ceremony will take place during an auspicious ‘shubh muhurat’ between 11:52 am and 12:35 pm, which aligns with ‘Abhijeet Muhurat’. Core hospitality rituals are set to occur between these hours for four minutes. It is the most auspicious time for holy ceremonies and coincides with the birth constellation of Lord Ram. The ceremony will take place on Vivah Panchami, the day celebrating the divine marriage of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita.
